TV rescued by own distress signal

This is hilarious. I found this link on /. and just had to post it here. Seems some guys television was emitting a distress signal (121.5 MHz international distress signal) that was picked up by satelite and transfered to the local Air Force rescue base nearby. Suddenly, this poor guy has the police, search and rescue, and civil air patrol people at his door trying to save him.
With all of the radio signals being emitted by electronic devices, it is a wonder that more of this does not happen.
