Linux is way to easy to install
April 25th, 2004
I just did a fresh install of White Box Linux onto my little server and it was way too easy.
I also just did a fresh install of Windows XP onto a friends computer and White Box was definitely the easier of the two. WinXP took me about 3 hours to get fully installed — this includes the install, norton antivirus and all the security and critical updates. White Box took me about 45 minutes. And this included checking the cd’s for corruption before doing the install.
All I can say it wow. Linux really had come along way since my first install. Anyway, look for a more complete review of White Box Linux in a day or two.
