Site News – Updates Coming

April 17th, 2003 Comments off

Wow, almost ten days without any news. Sorry people, just trying to finish the semester at school and I guess something had to be forgotten.

The goal is, over the summer, to add to the functionality of this site. The current things that are on the drawing board to be added are comments, a tips section, and hopefully, a Windows/Linux software compatability search engine.

This last item will be very cool, if I can get it to work. What it will be is a database where you can type in the name of a windows program and it will tell you the Linux equivalent. Or, if you don’t know the name of some software, you can simply select a category and the program will offer up some suggestions on different apps that fit that category.

That is the roadmap for the next few months anyway. Now back to our regularly scheduled website.
