My name is Chris Johnston and I reside in Calgary, Alberta. I recently graduated with my BSc in Computer Science from Ryerson University. I am currently working as a software developer for ThoughtWorks, a global IT consulting company that delivers custom software applications using Agile development methodologies.
Interests
- Ruby and Ruby on Rails
- Java/J2EE frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Wicket
- Lightweight, Agile software development methods and practices
- Grid computing and distributed systems
- How to put the above two areas together to create even bigger systems
- And autonomous robotics, cause they are just too cool
